Psychosexual Therapy

Most of us experience sexual problems at some point during our lives regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, and whether we are single or in a relationship.
Experiencing sexual problems can be worrying and often leads to feelings of anxiety, depression, overwhelm and isolation. These issues can undermine confidence, not just sexually, but in other areas of life too.
It can be difficult to talk about these problems. Psychosexual and relationship therapy can help both individuals and couples overcome relationship/psychosexual issues in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and empathetic environment.
There are various reasons why you might be experiencing difficulties in your sex life – psychological, emotional or physical. In the initial assessment we will look at your history, the problems you’re experiencing and what you would like to achieve. Together we can then create a plan to help you move towards a more fulfilling sex life.
I provide integrative talking therapy, and I often suggest practical exercises to be carried out privately, outside of the session.

“We settle for so-so sex because most of us don’t know how sexual we could be; we know only how sexual we are.” – Anita Clayton
